ITV Emmerdale fans spot big blunder with Noah's university plan

Emmerdale fans were quick to notice a blunder on tonight's episode, as Noah discussed his plans to go to university with Charity.

Noah told Charity he wanted to train as an engineer and join the army, in part to escape her.

But Charity begged him to reconsider his plan and suggested he went to university instead.

Noah got emotional and said: "University costs like £30,000"

Charity said she would pay but Noah said: "We don't have that kind of money"

Charity said: "We just need the first years fees now and then we can deal with the rest.

"I have money I just need to shift some stuff around and make some calls.

"Noah I just need some time."

However fans were quick to point out the problem in their conversation, as there was no mention of student loans.

In England students don't have to pay their tuition fees upfront and can instead apply for a student loan to cover their fees and living expenses that they only pay back when they graduate and are earning a certain amount of money.

And many of them took to social media to point out the issue.

Sophie M said: "Haven’t they heard of student loans on # emmerdale ?"

Katie Martin said: "Student loans are a thing huns."

Brian said: "University doesn't cost £30,000 Noah. You will only have to pay that back if you earn a certain amount money and even then it's not a huge amount you pay back."

And The festive parrot said: "Erm... Why is # Emmerdale making out like university is a "pay before you play" situation?"

*Emmerdale continues at 7pm on ITV tomorrow
