ITV Emmerdale fans shocked after confession twist with 'nasty' Kim

Emmerdale fans were shocked after tonight's episode (March 16), when a character's confession was seemingly caught on tape - though not all was as it seemed.

Andrea Tate was left sipping bubbly to celebrate after she believed she'd finally got one up on nemesis Kim.

Andrea set up a hidden camera at her wedding planning shop, Take a Vow, and called Kim over for a meeting before getting Kim to incriminate herself and apparently confess to setting up the killing of Graham Foster.

In the tape, the wedding planner attempts to trap Kim by pretending she wants to blackmail her and demands another payout for keeping quiet about the truth surrounding Graham's death.

Kim then appears to incriminate herself and says planning Graham's death wasn't tricky.

Later, Andrea celebrates her apparent victory and tells lawyer Nick, who has been helping her: "I believe we meet people for a reason, maybe I can return the favour one day."

The pair then toast to "new beginnings" as Andrea tells him, "Thank you, you saved my life."

Though in later scenes, it was revealed Kim was in on the scheme and had paid Nick in order to doublecross Andrea.

On Twitter, the official Emmerdale account tweeted a clip of the shocking twist:

Enjoying the plan, Kim says: "I'll give her tonight to think she's got one over on me."

She then added: "By the time I've finished with Andrea, her entire life will be in tatters."

On Twitter, fans shared their thoughts.

Shaun said: "Oh my! Kim Tate is a very nasty piece of work."

Kerry added: "Poor Andrea"

Georgina said: "We all saw that one was coming why didn't Andrea??"

Kayla commented: "well... who would've thunk that Kim paid this guy?... many probably [laughing emoji]"

Another fan said: "Wondered why he was helping Andrea so much. Should have known".

*Emmerdale airs on ITV at 7pm
