Emmerdale fans are scared for a character's life after a shock shooting.
A few weeks ago, viewers saw local farms being targeted by rustlers - killing and stealing sheep.
On one particular occasion rustlers arrived at Butler's Farm leading Moira to warn them off with a shotgun.
But tonight, it was heard that a nearby farm had been targeted and all their sheep had been slaughtered.
To protect Moira, Cain brandished a gun Harriet had asked him to dispose off.
But in a surprise turn of events, a shadowy figure was caught trespassing on the farm.
Cain believed he was potentially about to attack Moira and shot at the shadowy figure.
It was then revealed Nate, Cain's son and Moira's former lover, was the one who had been shot.
Fans were left scared for his life after he was seen bleeding heavily.
Lindy wrote: "Jesus, Cain shot Nate?"
Kezza said: "Cain shot Nate", followed by a shocked-face emoji.
Garry wrote: "NATE NOOOOO."
