Fans of Emmerdale suggested that Vanessa 'chill out' after tonight's episode.
It has come to light that Vanessa's partner Suzy had known Holly before she died of an overdose in 2016. Horrified that she could be linked to the death, she was desperate to make sure that Holly's mum Moira didn't find out.
Suzy explained to Vanessa that she didn't want Moira to find out that she knew Holly. Vanessa didn't see why as she suggested that Moira and Suzy could swap memories, not realising that Vanessa could be linked to Holly's death.

Suzy was adamant that Vanessa was to keep it to herself and Vanessa agreed before adding: "You don't have to keep things from me though. It makes me feel like you can't trust me." Suzy replied: "You are reading too much into this."
Vanessa explained that she couldn't go through with someone lying or being unfaithful to her again. She asked Suzy to confide in her, whether it was good or bad. She said: "I really like you Suzy, and I know it's early days but I want to make it work."
Suzy hit back as she said: "You don't even know me Vanessa. You're looking for someone to build your life with and I'm not the right person."
Vanessa was clearly hurt as she said: "But I think you are. I thought you were serious about us too?"
Suzy tried to let her down gently as she said: "I think you're amazing and I've loved every minute but I can't go deeper than this. You deserve someone better than me. I'm really sorry."
She picked her belongings up and left the café, leaving Vanessa bewildered. Fans on Twitter thought that Vanessa needed 'to chill' as she was acting 'so clingy' after such a short relationship.
One user said: "Vanessa needs to chill because she gets too clingy too soon in relationships #emmerdale." Sam said: "Vanessa is getting way too clingy for someone she’s just met #Emmerdale."
Reece said: "Say it with me now SLOW DOWN Vanessa #emmerdale." Meanwhile, Lauren said: "Why is Vanessa so desperate #Emmerdale."
