ITV Emmerdale fans say Meena 'isn't dead' as they predict final showdown

Emmerdale fans don't believe Meena Jutla has breathed her final breath in the village after a dramatic twist.

The evil nurse made her return to the Dales to get her own back on Billy Fletcher on his wedding day to Dawn Taylor.

However, in Wednesday night's episode of the ITV soap, Meena let Dawn go to find her son who Meena had hidden in the playhouse in the back garden after knocking Harriet out cold.

Billy was left at the viaduct tied up as Meena drove off in the limo she had nicked.

But the groom soon got free and was able to finally help Leyla Cavanagh who had been shot by Meena during Tuesday night's showdown.

Back in the village, Dawn had run by foot to save Lucas and Harriet.

But with news of Meena's return spreading, a seething Dr Liam Cavanagh spotted the serial killer making a run for it.

He gave chase and the pair eventually came face-to-face, with Liam grabbing a garden fork to intimidate the woman who killed his daughter on her 18th birthday.

Meena, however, wasn't going to stand around and continued to run and hide, with the village doc giving chase.

Eventually, the pair ended up on the bridge where Meena plunged Leanna Cavanagh to her death.

"You know, it's funny... I've been so judgemental about how stupid people are when I'm chasing them. Now look at me... just like Andrea running straight into that maze," Meena told Liam.

She added: "Leanna was the stupidest though, no offence!"

"Leanna wasn't stupid, she just didn't know someone could be so evil," the grieving father hit back.

Meena eventually gave up Leyla's location and told Liam: "She's bleeding out but if you take the car, right now, there might be time to save her.

"I'm not lying, I swear, you're a doctor... you don't want to hurt me, go save your wife! This isn't you."

As Liam threw the pitchfork into the water and turned his back to go find his wife, Meena continued her taunting.

"God, Leanna was fun to kill though... seriously, delicious. Literally, no idea what was about to happen. It still gives me chills, you know?" the psychopath said.

The village doctor eventually snapped (ITV)

And Liam finally snapped, pushing Meena over the bridge where she landed in the exact same space Leanna died.

As fans reeled from Dr Cavanagh's actions, other Emmerdale viewers didn't believe this is the end of Meena.

@DavidMackayy tweeted: "She definitely isn’t dead btw mark my words #emmerdale."

"#Emmerdale what's the betting Meena isn't dead and tomorrow's episode starts with her opening her eyes and cackling, telling them they will have to try harder," @JFDT29 said.

Meena was motionless as the episode ended (ITV)

@MissSarahWelf commented: "YES LIAM but why have I got the feeling that Meena isn't dead."

"I don't think Meena is dead, she threw herself off that bridge- she knew exactly what she was doing, standing in that place at that moment. She knew what was gonna happen, so she ain't dead. #Emmerdale #MeenaJutla," @IsBanksy2018 added.

And some fans think she will have one final victim.

Manpreet appeared next to Liam to see her sister lying on the floor below (ITV)

"She's not dead. Defo her and her sister will fight till the death," @lisabluoo said.

@angiemcurtis echoed: "She will pick up that pitchfork and attack her sister who decided to go on a deserted walk on her own when she knows something bad has happened in the village and her nutter sister is still on the run.."

At the end of Wednesday night's episode, viewers saw Manpreet rush to Liam's side after seeing him push Meena.
