Emmerdale fans were left confused tonight, as Rhona finally found out that Pierce had been released from jail.
Rhona eventually found the note from Pierce that had come with flowers shortly after Graham's death.
She immediately called Paddy and the police, who confirmed her rapist was out of jail.
The police promised to do "everything we can to take care of" Rhona and her son Leo.
And Paddy offered to move in for a few days, or for Rhona to move in with him to avoid Pierce.
Rhona refused and said she wanted to stay at home, but fans couldn't understand her thinking.
Jones said: "Why would you stay in that house Rhona."
Teena Massam said: "How stupid is Rhona, I’d be straight out of there and go into hiding."
And @elainewharton1 said: "Why would you stay in that house with a mad man after you? We always get “he’s not driving me out of my own home” when anyone with any sense would grab their child & get out of there!"
Pierce still has Vanessa held hostage and when he spotted the police at Rhona's he said things would have to "move faster" now.
With Pierce wanting Vanessa to convince Rhona to take him back, there's set to be dramatic scenes ahead.
