Emmerdale fans were gripped by tonight's hour-long episode as Moira Dingle and Nate Robinson's affair was finally exposed.
After finding out the truth, Cain Dingle, played by Jeff Hordley, decided to face his wife's lover on a boat in the middle of a lake.
The tense exchange between the two got heated as Nate, played by Jurell Carter, told Cain all the sordid details of their illicit affair.
Cain had already hit Nate on the head by the time the pair got into a dangerous fight, spilling petrol all over the deck.
But as Nate held Cain's head over the edge of the boat he told him he was his son in a shock twist.
He shouts to Moira, played by Natalie J Robb, that she has 'played her part' in his plot for revenge against his father, then the boom of the boat swings and hits her head forcing her into the water.
Fans of the show were left in utter shock as the episode finished, many not seeing the revelation coming, instead expecting a boat explosion.

Emmerdale bosses are staying tight-lipped about how Nate fits into the Dingle family and who his mother is.
