Emmerdale fans were horrified tonight, as Cain lashed out after finding out about Moira's affair.
The episode started with Faith wrangling with the decision whether to tell Cain about his wife's affair.
She eventually decided to tell her son the terrible news - but she got the wrong man as she told him Pete was the one she was having an affair with.
And Cain reacted furiously, as he smashed a chair up, as Faith cowered on the floor.
But fans didn't think Cain should be taking his fury out on the chair and took to twitter to slam his 'chair abuse'
Graham Blundell said: "I am disgusted at the amount of violence towards that poor chair."
Aaronfan1234 said: "Justice for that chair!!! Poor Cain though.."
Bigbaz said: "B*****y hell Cain...you’ll have to trawl the charity shops just to find that one chair that matches, otherwise it’s a trip to John Lewis for a full new set of 6.."
And Shaheen Ashraf said: "It's not the chairs fault Cain."
Cain then sent Moira off to the farm show with Nate - the one she's actually having the affair with - while he beat up Pete at home.
