Emmerdale fans were disgusted by tonight's scenes as the village vicar and a police officer started a romantic affair in a church.
Harriet and DI Malone's past was revealed last week, as the former colleagues admitted they were once an item.
But the local vicar is currently in a relationship with Will, whom DI Malone recently clashed with.
However, viewers saw the pair reunite once more as they slept with one another in St. Mary's Church.
Fans of the show said they felt 'sick' by what they saw, slamming Harriet for her unprofessional behaviour.
Holly tweeted: "Harriet needs a brain transplant, what she has done is unforgivable."
Nick wrote: "Omg Harriet actually slept with Malone in the church."
Jones said: "Harriet you are an absolute disgrace. In the church of all places too. What a slackly written character."
Mea Louise wrote: "Urgh Harriet makes me feel sick."
And Garry said: "Oh no tell me Harriet didn't sleep with Malone!"
The pair were interrupted by Dawn, who is Will's daughter, but luckily for Harriet she didn't see DI Malone behind the curtain.
