Emmerdale fans were left cringing tonight as awkward scenes aired between Amy and Matty.
Last week, viewers saw Marlon invite Amy to a pizza tasting with him and Matty.
Amy was excited to spend an evening with Matty, but Paddy's suggestion to invite others to make it less awkward knocked her back when she arrived at the Woolpack.

Things became worse, with Amy left feeling that she's needs to stay clear of relationships.
Tonight, Matty was hurt by Amy’s rejection and feigned bravado by telling Marlon that the reason they’re not dating is because he’s decided that she’s "too needy".
However, he was unaware that Amy was in the shop and had overheard everything he said.
Emmerdale viewers cringed at the scene, with many taking to Twitter.

Fortunately, Matty later apologised to Amy for his behaviour and suggested they meet up for a casual pizza date.
