Emmerdale fans have been left confused after a story-line was "abandoned" without being resolved.
Tuesday's instalment of the popular ITV soap saw Chloe trapped at Noah's house after finding out he had broken into her home, rifled through her things and taken her journal. Chloe also found recordings of her phone conversations on Noah's laptop.
Chloe tried to leave as Noah returned with snacks, hiding the laptop under her jacket for evidence. But as Noah grilled her as to why she was suddenly leaving, the laptop slipped and fell to the floor.

Noah wouldn't let Chloe leave once he realised he had been rumbled. Explaining why he'd broken into her home, he said: "I like you, I wanted to get to know you better".
Chloe replied: "Normal people just ask". She then recalled how her dad had spied on her too. She said: "You're just like my dad. He had me tracked, he had me spied on, and you know how that made me feel. You're just like him.
"No, do you know what? You're worse because you actually made me believe I could trust you." The scenes clearly reminded many viewers about Chloe's mysterious father who was heavily mentioned a while ago with nothing ever coming of it.
Taking to Twitter, Steff Smith said: "Remember the whole Chloe's dad storyline that just vanished? Maybe now we're finally going to get to find out who he is?". Char said: "Who remembers when Kerry said when she came back that Chloe’s dad was 'dangerous', & then they just abandoned that storyline".
Amy said: "Are we ever going to see Chloe's mysterious dad?". Georgia Bowring said: "Whatever happened to Chloe's gangster dad?".
