Nate Robinson's hopes of a reunion with ex-girlfriend Tracy Metcalfe were quickly dashed during Emmerdale's latest scenes. The farmhand at Butlers Farm was hoping that the pair could reconcile despite Tracy moving to Nottingham with their daughter Frankie.
The mum of his child decided to take a job opportunity and left the village earlier this year after learning that Nate had cheated on her with Fiona Murphy. But after recently going to stay with his former girlfriend and their daughter, Nate believed a reunion between the pair was on the cards.
However, during scenes aired on Thursday nights, Emmerdale viewers saw Nate recieve a phone call from Tracy who told him that she had moved on with another man and that their daughter 'loves him'. He shared his heartbreak with housemate Ryan Stocks but it wasn't enough and he was soon heading out to the shop to pick up some drinks.

However, fans were left distracted during the scenes as they couldn't fathom how Nate found out Tracy's news during the "quickest call ever" and questioned whether Tracy even spoke at all.

But soon things were moving on and Nate was asking Chloe round to his. She was waiting in the village for Noah who had bought the pair gig tickets in a bid to get them to spend more time together after their split. But while he popped home to pick them up, she quickly rejected him for new love interest Nate.
She helped to comfort Nate as they had a heart-to-heart at his home, however, Chloe and Nate didn't realise that Noah was secretly watching them as he looked on in fury. Later confronting Chloe about her sudden disappearance, she lied and said Amy needed help with childcare at the last minute.
Emmerdale viewers were soon taking to social media to talk about Chloe and Nate after their previous dalliance saw the latter ditch Chloe after spending the night together.
