ITV Emmerdale fans baffled by Mandy and Vinny's lockdown location

Emmerdale fans were left baffled by the location of the soap's latest lockdown episode.

Tonight's episode centred on Mandy and Vinny who bemused fans by spending lockdown in the salon instead of their home.

Another popular topic of discussion was Mandy's loungewear collection, with the character sporting leopard print two-pieces and elaborately patterned numbers throughout the episode.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Luke commented: "Any particular reason why Mandy and Vinny are “locked down” in a nail salon and not in their own home?"

Mike said: "Why are they living at the salon?"

Garry said: "They're isolating in the salon, good choice Mandy."

And Si added: "its just too weird having #Emmerdale on and its on lockdown lol i cant even watch it".

Of Mandy's lockdown outfits, Sal commented: "Mandy even has a leopard print hoodie".

Alex said: "mandy and her endless supply of iconic loungewear".

In a devastating twist, Mandy revealed she found out she was pregnant after Vinny's dad left them but it "wasn't meant to be" and she collapsed, hemorrhaging - but she didn't want the rest of the family to know.

She was told she was unable to have children and felt like a "jigsaw with missing pieces".

Lisa Riley's performance was praised by fans.

One fan commented: "Give all the awards to @Reallisariley an honest, raw and brave performance stunning!"

The episode is the latest in Emmerdale's special lockdown editions featuring just two actors, as producers adhere to social distancing measures to keep cast and crew as safe as possible.
