Emmerdale fans were rather confused after a character, who hasn't been seen in the village for a while, returned on tonight's instalment.
Tonight, viewers saw Chas and Paddy squabbling as their marriage starts to crumble.
An argument erupted in The Woolpack between the couple, with Chas storming out and leaving Paddy to look after Eve.

At the Zen Gardens, an amused Chas spotted Al hiding from Rishi behind a bush.
When Al deduced that Chas herself was hiding from someone, she realised Al had hit the nail on the head.
Al and Chas flirted harmlessly as they talk about each other's partners.
Meanwhile, back in the pub, Aaron asked Bear for suggestions on helping Chas and Paddy’s relationship get back on track.
But fans were confused to see Bear reappear, apparently out of nowhere.
Dan wrote: "Has Bear been hibernating?"
Teena said: "Where has Bear suddenly appeared from?"
Dion tweeted: "Bears made an appearance."
And Shaheen said: "Oh Bear does still exist."
