Hundreds of people have reported issues with ITV and Virgin Media in the middle of the Britain's Got Talent live semi-finals.
The website Down Detector reported as many as 1260 people were experience outages on the ITV network on Friday evening.
Many customers of Virgin Media said they were having problems accessing a number of channels and the company confirmed they were experiencing issues.
Just after 9.30pm they tweeted that all channels had been restored. The network was down for around 30 minutes.
ITV tweeted: "We're hearing that some people maybe experiencing technical issues. Please bear with us whilst we investigate."
Virgin Media tweeted earlier: "We are aware that some customers have been impacted by the loss of some channels and we're currently investigating. Thanks for your patience. Channel 853 is still working".
They later apologised for the outage: "We sincerely apologise for the loss of some TV channels earlier this evening. All channels are now restored."
Viewers took to social media to complain about the issue.
"ITV gone off right in the middle of #BGT how annoying!!" wrote one.
While another said the network had been out for 20 minutes.
Another viewer who had been watching via Virgin Media posted a photo of the notice they were seeing on their screen, which read: "This channel is currently unavailable".
Some said if they switched to Virgin channel 853 they were able to continue watching.
One said: "Thought it was my virgin box. I've lost all 'terrestrial' channels (1-4) including all their plus ones, HD and SD channels!"
