ITV have denied Sherif Lanre's shock claim that a Love Island co-star used the N-word repeatedly while singing the lyrics of a rap song.
A spokesperson has said that they found no reference to the N-word in the footage they had reviewed.
Bosses hit back at the 20-year-old Islander's comments after he accused them of having "double standards".
Sherif recently opened up about his shock exit from the villa and said that he had been kicked out after playfighting with Molly-Mae.
He told The Sun he was given a red card after accidentally kicking Molly-Mae in the groin and joking he'd made a "c*** punt".
However ITV have refuted Sherif's recent claims that nothing was said about racial slurs made by another Islander.
A spokesman said: “We monitor the islanders 24/7 and we have no recording of the use of this offensive language.
“And, at no point, does anyone use that offensive language in rap lyrics or any other time. We do have clear rules on the use of language in the villa.”
Sherif claimed that one male Islander, who he refused to name, "repeatedly" used the N-word while he was rapping.
He said that the man had used it "two or three times" and had not been pulled aside for it.
“The same rules did not seem to apply to the other contestants," Sherif said.
