ITV daytime star beats Holly Willoughby to become host raking in the most

An ITV daytime star is reportedly the highest paid presenter on TV - and it's not Holly Willoughby.

Holly, 42, has a number of cash streams, including her highly lucrative Wyde Moon wellness site.

However, the presenter with the most cash in the bank, is, according to reports, daytime queen Lorraine Kelly.

The savvy Scot, 63, is said to have assets worth almost £4million plus £2.8million ready cash in the bank, according to newly-filed accounts.

Last year alone Lorraine’s firm made a profit of more than £500,000.

The newly published annual accounts for her company Albatel show it had total assets of £4,246,037.

This puts her ahead of Holly, who logged £1.5million for her company Roxy Media Ltd.

Elsewhere, Loose Women's Ruth Langsford is said to be worth £3.3million with her company Hey Ho — thanks to her TV work and flogging clothes on shopping channel QVC.

She pips former This Morning host Philip Schofield to the post, whose firm Fistral Productions Ltd is worth £2.5m, according to available accounts.

Phil's former colleague Alison Hammond won widespread praise after stepping in for the presenter when he sensationally quit the show before admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a young runner.

However, the bubbly Brummie has a while to go before she matches the Broom Cupboard star's fortune.

Alison's accounts show a balance of £133,000.

There's been high drama at ITV since Phil left and his former pal Holly asked us all if we were ok.

The mum-of-three took a two week break from the show after falling out with the presenter - who she used to go on holiday with.

Now, she's back at the helm, joined by a host of hosts, including Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle.

However, Holly was absent from the show on Monday after partying at Glastonbury at the weekend.

Sporting a £1,000 jacket, she said the trip to Somerset was 'freeing' as she let her hair down for 12 hours with her showbiz pals.

After travelling back from the festival, Holly gushed it was "pure magic" in her Wylde Moon newsletter.

She wrote, according to the Daily Mail: "Just what is it about going to a festival that makes you feel about 20 again? There's something so freeing about it…as if you've entered a world that encourages you to leave life's worries and responsibilities at the gate and let your hair down.

"I spent three amazing days with incredible friends, listening to some of the best musicians on the planet – all whilst dancing like lunatics."
