ITV Dancing on Ice viewers left frustrated by 'annoying' sound issue

Dancing on Ice viewers have expressed their frustration towards one 'annoying' element of the show on social media. On Sunday night (February 27), fans tuned in for the seventh episode of this year's series.

Last night's show was a fairly dramatic one, with The Vamps' Connor Ball left needing stitches after he took a tumble. After falling down, his dance partner, Alexandra Schauman, accidentally cut his leg with the blade of her skate.

But some fans have been left annoyed by one issue, which seems to have become even more frustrating since the dropping of COVID-19 restrictions. The issue is not with the dancers, judges, or presenters, but pertains to a different group of people entirely.

Taking to Twitter, Angela Hackett said: "#DancingOnIce Audience.....you are spoiling it. Please SHUT UP!!!!!!!" Meanwhile, Daz fumed: "I think I speak for the vast majority of the tv audience when I say I wish the crowd would f***ing shut up #dancingonice."

Replying to Daz, Chez Kay said: "The upside of COVID last year - no audience making all that noise in the audience!" Andy Snaith remarked: "I’m convinced it’s all canned"

"And the person leaving tonight is every member of the audience for being so damn annoying and loud #dancingonice", Niamh said.

The frustrating audience were not the only thing viewers were talking about, as some pointed out the somewhat awkward exchange between Holly Willoughby and long-time friend Phillip Schofield. After speaking to contestants towards the end of the show, Phillip said: "Over to Holly!"

Awkwardness arose when Holly was not ready to take on hosting, as she whispered: "No!". Realising his mistake, Phillip instead directed viewers towards a preview of next week's programme, which will air on March 6.
