ITV Dancing On Ice viewers 'done' with show as they complain over 'wrong' bottom two

Dancing On Ice has been blasted by fans as they complained over the 'wrong' bottom two.

The ITV skating competition ditched its usual Valentine's Day-themed show for a different theme.

Week five of the show saw each couple's performance centred around the celebrity's favourite thing.

Phillip Schofield also made his return to the programme after missing a week as he tested positive for Covid-19, with Stephen Mulhern stepping in to replace him.

As the show began, he said: "I had serious fomo, I have to tell you, made better by four or five gin and tonics.

"And well done to Stephen Mulhern as well. Fantastic. You are welcome."

But there was quite the drama on the ice as falls and stumbles took over.

Liberty was the first to take a tumble during her skate to Right Round by Flo Rida.

The rollercoaster-themed routine saw her lifted by her professional partner Joe Johnson but lose her footing during the landing, dragging Johnson to the ice.

However, the pair quickly regained their feet and finished their routine just as the music ended.

Bez also took a tumble during an energetic routine dressed as a bee-keeper to Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves while frontrunner Regan Gascoigne also suffered a few wobbles.

Dancing On Ice fans, however, were later fuming went the bottom-two was revealed as Liberty and Kye Whyte.

Judges Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean voted to save BMX Olympic medal winner Kye, with only Oti Mabuse backing 2021 Love Island star Liberty.

After the result was announced, Liberty, 22, said: "Even though I had that fall tonight – sometimes these things happen – I have honestly enjoyed every second and I am proud of myself because I have pushed myself this week."

But viewers were soon taking to social media, threatening to switch-off from the show.

"Absolute disgrace again keeping Sally & Bez in, good skaters leaving again. Not fair to lose Liberty," @loukrishenry said.

@emmalouise92z fumed: "Done with this show now. Liberty shouldn't of gone, Kye has been in skate off 3 times & will be next week. Sally & Bez should of been in skate off."

"The wrong ones were in the bottom two again, as usual," @pinksweetheartxx wrote.

@HappeeSnapper tweeted: "That's the last time I watch #dancingonice . Perfectly capable contestants going while Bez continues to look like he's taking his first ever steps on ice."
