ITV Dancing On Ice's Siva Kaneswaran tears up as Holly and Phil support him

Siva Kaneswaran became emotional as he dedicated his performance on Dancing on Ice to late bandmate Tom Parker.

Singer Siva danced with partner Klabera Komini to The Wanted song Gold Forever in the semi-final. Tom died aged 33 in March last year, 17 months after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

The band re-released a new version of their single Gold Forever (For Tom) to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity and it was played at Tom's funeral last April.

In the video before his performance, Siva said Tom was like a brother. He said: "I think I'm trying to find the words to figure out like how I feel about him not being around."

Siva then became choked up. He said: "It's really hard, really hard, I miss him a lot." Siva said the routine was for everyone who "knew and loved Tom".

He added: "This is for his memory." The pair received their highest score of 36 for the routine, which saw Tom's widow Kelsey blowing kisses from the audience.

Host Holly Willoughby said: "Siva, that was your highest score of the series and that was a beautiful routine in honour of your friend Tom.

"I'm not quite sure how you got through that."

Siva said: "I don't know either, I'm still shaking. I'm so happy that I get to celebrate Tom and Tom's memory and show who he was and I'm so happy I get to do this in front of his kids."

Holly said: "Well done you. Very strong." Phil added: "He was an amazing guy, a lovely guy."

Judge Oti Mabuse described the dance as "magical" while Christopher Dean said: "You did him proud." Ashley Banjo added: "To take something so personal and let that enhance the quality is a feat."
