ITV Dancing On Ice's Sally Dynevor "time to go" as she votes herself off

Saturday night's Dancing on Ice came with all the usual drama but catching the attention of fans was Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor who seemed to vote herself off before the final dance off had even begun.

It was prop night on the show and the week saw Connor take a tumble onto the ice and cut himself while skating with a mop, and Ashley and Brendan score straight 10s, then attention turned to the dance off.

Sally went head to head with Kye Whyte.

Ultimately, though, it was Sally who went home.

Fan's were quick to come out in support of the Corrie star, reported YorkshireLive.

People complained that it was 'unfair' for the ITV show to pit amateur skaters against professional dancers and 'underscore' the amateurs like Sally and Connor.

But Sally it seems had no faith in getting through, announcing to the judges that it was 'time to go' before Kye even took to the ice again.

She told Phillip and Holly: "The competition has been so good. and that was so much fun but I think it's time for me to go."

Taking to social media, one fan said: "Sally voting herself off".

While another said: "Sally has voted for Kye. Not sure that was the vibe we were going for, but there we go."

And a third said: "Yes Sally, its definitely time for you to go."

Ultimately the judges agreed and voted Sally off.

But the whole experience did have fans complaining about the scoring of professionals on the show after Brendan scored a perfect 10/10/10/10.

Meanwhile Connor had his score lowered following a tumble on the ice which ended up with him cutting himself on his own blade.

Connor told the judges that he was bleeding after he fell on the ice while attempting a bold lift with a mop.

And it led to Ashley and the other judges lowering Connor's score as a result.

Viewers weren't happy with the scoring throughout, feeling that Brendan Cole, the pro dancer, shouldn't have been handed straight 10s while Sally Dyevenor and Connor Ball were marked down for their skates despite being amateurs.

Fans responded: "I don't care what anyone says they should ban professional dancers on #DancingOnIce, they have 3 on the show this year and those three are ALWAYS going to be top of the leader board because they're professional dancers, whether they fall, mess up or whatever in a routine."

Another said: "It's unfair to have professional dancing against non dancer...they have the advantage from week one.."

A third added: "Brendon Cole is a professional dancer and I don't care what anyone says he has a significant advantage in this competition!"

Fans continued: "Is it really fair that professional dancers are doing dancing on ice? As they all ready have years and years of experience dancing."

Another said: "It's odd that the professional dancers like Kimberly and Brendan get top scores and amateurs like Sally don't score as well. Its almost as if the judges haven't noticed. Funny that."
