Dancing on Ice had tried to tempt Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor onto the rink for years, and finally the ITV show succeeded.
Sally, who has played Weatherfield icon Sally Metcalfe for 36 years, was a far cry from the cobbles as she glided over the ice with her pro partner Matt Evers.
And fans gasped at her stunning show look - a classy navy costume with her blonde hair worn swept back.
@AntMelia94 tweeted: "Literally gasped at our Sally D, I thought it was Margot Robbie as Tonya Harding! #DancingOnIce."

@dave_oliverr complimented: "Gorgeous Sally looks like Princess Di in the royal blue #DancingOnIce."
@craggleprice said: "Do love Sally!! She looks really pretty!!"
@SophieSharpie commented: "Aw Sally looks gorgeous!"
@perfectmanda wrote: "Wow Sally looks stunning."

And Radio One DJ Adele Roberts cheered: "Sally from Corrie never ages! Go on Sal!
"Cracking routine."
New judge Oti Mabuse descrbed their ice dance as a 'dreamy performance.'
And Jayne Torvill said it was 'absolutely beautiful' and described Sally's tehnnique as 'really good.'
Sally, 58, and Matt, 45, skated to She's Always A Woman by Billy Joel and received a total of 23 points out of 40.
Sally was the first contestant to be confirmed for Dancing On Ice 2022.
Speaking on the ITV chat show Lorraine back in October she said: "It's a massive challenge, Lorraine. But I'm not getting any younger.
"I just want to do this for myself. Give me a bit of confidence and do something different."
Last year's series was won by Capital FM DJ Sonny Jay with his professional partner Angela Egan who is akting with Happy Mondays dancer Bez this year.
