ITV Dancing on Ice 2023: Ekin-Su “home with a fever” before first live show

Celebrities taking part in this year's Dancing on Ice are raring to go, you can read the full line-up here, this Sunday one of the famous line-up is sadly in bed ill ahead of the opening episode, on January 15. Love Island star Ekin-Su Culculoglu was due to be performing in the first episode of Dancing on Ice, however, she is currently un-well.

Ekin-Su and her boyfriend Davide Scanclimenti appeared on the 2022 series of Love Island and despite some big arguments, won the show and have remained in a relationship since. Davide posted on his Instagram story a picture of him hugging Ekin-Su and revealed she had a fever.

He said: "Someone's home with the fever..in good hands tho." and tagged Ekin-Su in the picture. No more details were given about Ekin-Su's illness but she is due to perform on the first episode and live show of Dancing on Ice, which begins on Sunday, January 15 at 6.30pm on ITV1. Ekin-Su has not posted on her own Instagram about the fever or any illness and she attended the Dancing on Ice press day on Wednesday (January 11). Since winning Love Island Ekin-Su and Davide had their own ITV2 show, Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings, where they traveled to their hometowns in Turkey and Italy to experience the culture and meet each other's families.

The Love Island star will join pop star Michelle Heaton, fellow reality TV star Joey Essex, EastEnders actress Pasty Palmer, Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson and The Wanted band member Siva Kaneswaran as the first six celebrities performing in the new series. The rest of the line-up, Carly Stenson, Darren Harriott, The Vivienne, Mollie Gallagher and John Fashanu will perform to judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo next week.
