ITV Corrie's Mollie Gallagher looks gorgeous as she shows off new blonder hair for the autumn

Coronation Street star star Mollie Gallagher drew in compliments as she struck a pose with a new fresh blonde hair style. The actress, who plays goth Nina Lucas in the ITV soap, wowed as she showcased her blonder look.

The star introduced a two-toned hairdo last year, adding slices of blonde to her raven tresses to frame her face and transformed her curls into a sleeker, poker-straight style. Now Mollie has added even more of the icy shade and with some auburn mixed in for the new autumn season.

"We got some more blonde," she declared as she shared a snap on her Instagram. And her fans and followers love it, with one likening her to the Glastonbury-headlining music super star Billie Eilish.

Mollie told one follower: "We got some ginger and still dark at the back but we r getting there!! I actually like all the mix of colours hahahaha." And channiquesb said: "Listen I’m here for the mix it’s autumnal then you can go full ice blonde for winter."

Mollie as Nina in Corrie after she added blonde to frame her face (ITV)

Last September Mollie won her first National Television Award after winning hearts as cafe worker Nina, the niece of Roy Cropper. She won Best Serial Drama Performance after taking centre stage for a harrowing hate crime storyline in memory of goth Sophie Lancaster.

The ITV soap worked with The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, set up by Sophie's mum Sylvia who passed away in April. Sophie and her boyfriend Robert Maltby were set upon because they were members of the goth subculture and as a consequence of the attack in Stubbylee Park, Bacup in 2007, 20-year-old Sophie died from her injuries.

In Corrie, Mollie's character Nina and her boyfriend Seb Franklin were chased by Corey Brent, Kelly Neelan and their mates as they attempted to walk home after Nina was slapped by Kelly in a vile confrontation egged on by the gang. Seb tragically died from his injuries in hospital leaving Nina and mum Abi grief-stricken.

Corey tried to frame Kelly for killing Seb, but during a flashback episode it was revealed that Corey was responsible for the horror blows that caused Seb's fatal injuries. Viewers were appalled as Corey and his father Stefan attempted to do a runner after Corey's bloodstained clothes were handed into the police.

But neighbour Gary Windass intercepted their getaway van and drove them straight to the police station. Father and son were amazed as the van doors opened to reveal Nina and Abi ready to watch as Corey was finally arrested.
