ITV Corrie's Michael Le Vell makes rare red carpet appearance with Roy and Dev actors in Manchester

Coronation Street star Michael Le Vell made a rare red carpet appearance this week as he joined a number of his co-stars out in Manchester. The actor, who is famed for playing Kevin Webster in the ITV soap, headed out to Manchester Opera House to see Jersey Boys.

The Tony, Grammy and Olivier award-winning musical hits the city this week, telling the story behind the story of world-famous rock'n' roll group Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

While obviously recognisbale from his TV role, Michael looked worlds away from his character as he hopped out of his mechanic scrubs and into a smart outfit for the occasion. The 57-year-old smiled for the cameras as he donned a pair of grey trousers and a black shirt under a black overcoat and with a pair of brown boots.

He was joined by his partner Louise Gibbons who looked gorgeous in a white shirt which she wore tucked into a pair of leather pants which she wore with a Louis Vuitton belt. The couple started dating in 2014 and it is reported the soap star proposed to Louise in secret back in 2017.

Also hitting the red carpet was fellow long-standing Corrie stars David Neilson, Chris Gascoyne, and Jimmi Harkishin. It is not very often that David, who plays the much-loved Roy Cropper in the soap, is seen out and about with his co-stars but fans have now had the pleasure of spotting him twice in a matter of weeks.

The soap legend, who was snapped looking casual in a pair of jeans and blue hoody before keeping warm in a mid-length brown leather coat, also headed out to The Lowry theatre at the end of last month to watch Girl From The North Country. Dev Alahan star Jimmi, however, was fresh from his appearance at the National Television Awards last week.

The actor beamed as he pulled a variety of poses for the waiting cameras. Meanwhile, former Corrie star Rebecca Ryan cut a glam figure as she showed off her newlywed glow. The actress, who played bunny boiler Lydia Chambers, is still fresh from marrying her man Dan Acraman last month.

Rebecca looked stunning in a white jumper dress which she paired with a black belt to show off her hourglass figure. She added a pair of long black boots to her look and threw on an across-body bag while her long dark locks shone styled in curls. She also posed with her brother, and Corrie star, Jack James Ryan for some photos.

Summer Spellman actress Harriet Bibby and Ellie Leach, who plays Corrie's Faye Windass, were also in attendance and got the monochrome memo as they sported similar outfits. While Harriet opted for a white shirt and black blazer teamed with skirt, tight and boots, Ellie teamed her oversized blazer with a black vest top and trousers which she paired with some Converse trainers.

Rob Mallard, who stars as Daniel Osbourne, Jenny Connor actress Sally Ann Matthews and Corrie newcomer Channique Sterling-Brown, who has joined the soap's cast as Dee-Dee Bailey, were also seen stopping for photos as they made their way inside the venue for the performance.
