ITV Corrie's Kimberly Hart-Simpson looks totally different from Nicky character as she poses in £3 charity shop outfit

ITV Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson has stunned fans after posing in a £3 outfit she bought from a charity shop. The soap star, who plays former sex worker Nicky Wheatley, looked miles away from her on-screen character.

Kimberly shared the budget look on social media, and fans are loving it. She's now urging other people to consider charity shops as means of more sustainable fashion buying.

Nicky returned to Weatherfield earlier this year and has endured a turbulent period on the ITV show. The character was given a job as a teaching assistant at Daniel's school before she was suspended when her previous job was exposed by Max Turner.

During last Wednesday’s instalment of the ITV soap, Daniel discovered Nicky packing her and Maisie’s things, revealing she was off to stay with a friend for a while. However, the following day Kimberly revealed on Instagram that fans "will see Nicky again".

Away from the cobbles, Kimberly is a huge fan of charity shopping. Last month she wowed fans in a green jumpsuit that cost just £5 from the British Heart Foundation. Now, she has found another stunning outfit - which features a £3 buy.

In snaps posted to Instagram on Wednesday, the actress can be seen wearing a pair of black, fringe trim trousers from Pretty Little Thing with silver detailing. She paired the item with a black cut-out blazer.

Further photos revealed the trousers were £3. Taking to her Instagram stories, Kimberly said: "I've received quite a few messages about how I find my charity shop finds so I thought I'd jump on here and share my top tips.

"Number one, consistency is key. Keep checking those charity shops. Number two, get to know your local charity shop staff because they'll know when the new stock is going on the shop floor, gives you a fighting chance to find a bargain.

"Number three, have the thought process that you will be saving money which we all need right now. And you'll be helping save or change people's lives, and with that thought process you're onto a winner."

Fans were quick to compliment the star on her outfit. Taking to the comments section of her post, Anne-Marie Staddon said: "Beautiful", while Patricia Peake said: "Stunning". Kaz Bishop said: "Everything you touch turns to gold".
