ITV Corrie fans 'obsessed' by Daisy's behind-the-bar habit at the Rovers as she reveals her 'sinister' side

Bad girl Daisy Midgeley floored Coronation Street fans as she plotted against her love rival in Wednesday night's hour-long episode.

Corrie viewers knew Daisy had a wicked side, but they didn't expect her to sink as low as to attempt to ruin Nicky Wheatley's new career as a teaching assistant by enlisting the help of tearaway pupil Max Turner.

The Rovers Return barmaid wants rid of her teacher boyfriend Daniel Osbourne's close friend Nicky after she recently returned to Weatherfield to start working alongside him.

Soap watchers couldn't believe what they were seeing as minxy Daisy, played by Charlotte Jordan, paid Max to cause havoc for Weatherfield High School's new arrival, especially because of the bad blood between her man and the troubled teen.

Last month Max threatened to send Daniel down for pushing him down the stairs of his flat, which had led to him being hospitalised, if he didn't keep quiet about Max spiking Amy Barlow's drink at the school dance.

Fans slammed Daisy's behaviour with @Dmillar48204176 tweeting: "How can she use Max like that, knowing all the trouble he's been in and his history with Daniel? He's a kid!

"Also, trying to mess up Nicky's prospects? Daisy is nasty. I agree that Daniel needs to find out soon. He needs to dump her!"

@Clawmaw exclaimed: "Daisy is a scumbag for paying Max to misbehave in school! That's disgraceful!"

@Dmillar4820417 said: "There’s definitely a sinister side to her. Hope Max doesn’t do it."

Thankfully Daisy changed her mind and asked Max to call off the classroom sabotage after Daniel told her how Nicky is a struggling single mum.

But, as he visited his girlfriend in the pub, viewers were distracted by her habit of emphatically filing her nails behind the bar.

@sophie_writer1 said: "Obsessed with Daisy passive-aggressively filing her nails."

@ADADAPPADAN commented: "'Pint o' lager, AND, a load o' Daisy's, fingernail dust, please, ta!' #Corrie."

The habit has previously been clocked by @xxAlicia89 who said: "I love how Daisy files her nails behind the bar."

And @krankenwagen_ said: "Does that Daisy do anything apart from file her nails and clean the pub tables?"
