ITV Coronation Street fans were shocked with the latest development in Yasmeen's abuse storyline tonight.
Following the long-running coercive control storyline between Yasmeen and Geoff that has developed over almost a year, viewers branded the character a "psycho".
Tonight's episode saw Geoff Metcalfe hurt his wife further when he killed her beloved chicken, Charlotte Bronte, and then manipulate her into eating her.
Watching Yasmeen take a few bites, Geoff asked: "How is it?"
Yasmeen said: "Perfect."
After watching Yasmeen tuck in to her beloved chicken, Geoff then dropped the bombshell to Yasmeen's horror.
Yasmeen spat the chicken out and jumped up from the table, clearly shocked and distressed.
Fans of the show were shocked with Geoff's latest cruelty.
On Twitter , Gerald said: " #corrie @itvcorrie think you’ve gone way [too] far!!! Yes this storyline needs told, but you’ve gone [too] far!!!! Making her eat her own chicken."
Carol said: "Evil, evil man."
Louise said: "Geoff is so evil [angry face] but so well played by Ian Bartholomew."
Rachael said: "Excuse my language but Geoff is a c*** and I hope this is what makes Yasmeen see sense!"
Another fan commented: "I’d like to wring Geoff’s neck."
Kirsten added: "I could wreck my tele at Geoff. I hate watching these scenes but I understand the importance of them and the story they are telling. It’s difficult to watch but that’s the point."

And another viewer said: "Geoff is one nasty piece of work."
Grianne said: "OMG can't believe Geoff actually just forced Yasmeen to eat Charlotte, total f*****g psycho or what? If only Phelan was still alive to give him a taste of his own medicine."
Another viewer said: "This is sick."
Other fans branded Geoff "cruel" and "evil".
Later scenes saw Geoff try and justify his actions to his devastated wife.
He said: "I genuinely thought you be pleased."
Yasmeen said: "Please can we stop talking about this?"
Geoff then blamed Yasmeen for "making a hash of dinner in the first place" before storming off.
Later, Gail finds Yasmeen crying in the garden and asks her what's wrong, but Yasmeen doesn't answer and heads back inside the house.
Gail then tells Alya she found her Gran crying in the garden and Alya says: "Something's up with her, I'm sure of it."
