Coronation Street viewers were left disgusted after the latest episode of the ITV soap.
Whist television shows often increase the volume to make a scene more dramatic, tonight's kissing segment was too much for some.
Adam Barlow and Sarah Platt were enjoying a romantic hotel break away at a posh pad in Worsley, despite Sarah telling daughter Bethany that she was going away to the Midlands on business.
Soon enough, things got steamy between the pair as they frantically kissed one another.
However, a number of fans were unhappy with the the sound levels during the more intimate moment.
One tweeted: "Don't you just hate false kissing on tele it's like sucking on a lemon #corrie ."
Another said: "Watching #CoronationStreet and find myself wondering if people really do kiss that noisily?
"I know it's been a while since I was in such a snogging situation but it sounds like squelching to me!"
A third wrote: "Seriously, no one kisses that loud! #corrie ."
And one fan said: "Sarah and Adam don’t half make some slobbering noises when they are snogging. Almost as bad as Gemma eating..."
Meanwhile, Rick appeared on the street looking for Gary and Sarah.
A suspicious Bethany took a picture of him on her phone and showed it to Gary. Fearing for Sarah’s safety, Gary urged Bethany to track Sarah down.
