ITV Coronation Street viewers gutted as Gina Seddon leaves Weatherfield for good

Coronation Street fans bid farewell to Gina Seddon in tonight's episode following Underworld's roof collapse.

Over the past few months, Gina has been in vehement rows with sister Sally Metcalfe.

In December, it was revealed that Gina and Sally's husband Tim had jumped into bed together while Sally was in prison.

However, the tension finally culminated last month when the sisters climbed onto the scaffolding on top of the factory to hang banners - but this resulted in an almighty row erupting between the pair.

Eventually the pair called truce and Gina offered Sally a hand down from the roof, but the stubborn sister refused before suddenly falling when the roof caved in.

Whilst Sally survived the fall, Gina decided that it was best for her to finally leave her sister and husband alone and leave the Cobbles forever.

And her exit had viewers in tears, with many upset about her departure.
