ITV Coronation Street viewers have been left unimpressed with the latest addition to the famous cobbles.
New girl Chelsey arrived on the famous street as a supposed blast from popular character Carla's past.
Chelsey is attempting to blackmail Carla for £1,000 after she struggled with alcohol issues and became homeless before getting her life back together.
In tonight's episode, Chelsey's partner in crime Jordan arrived to make matters worse for Carla, claiming the pair had been intimate and threatening to tell Peter unless Carla plays ball.
But viewers were not happy with the new arrivals' antics and took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
One viewer said: "Already can't wait for that skank harassing Carla to leave. An absolute face for slaps. Really hope they are not trying to introduce yet another awful useless character."
Andy commented: "I feel for Carla. She's just this second got her life back on track and now crap from her past comes to haunt her. Give the woman a break."
A third viewer said: "Jordan and Chelsea? Really? Yet more rubbish trash characters from the gutter. No thanks."
Tammy added: "Poor Carla but if I was her I'd tell Peter coz she was off her nut at the time she don't remember and Peter would help her honesty in these situations is always best".
Julie said: "It's one nasty character after another on Corrie now."
