ITV Coronation Street viewers confused by Sinead and Daniel storyline

Coronation Street viewers were confused by tonight's storyline between Sinead Tinker and Daniel Osbourne.

This comes after it was confirmed that Sinead is set to die as part of a tragic storyline after discovering her cancer has returned and is terminal.

Sinead will find a lump on her neck on her wedding day next Monday.

Her and Daniel head to the hospital the next day, where they are dealt the cruel blow that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and her liver, and that she only has months to live.

However, tonight's episode confused viewers as the pair looked like they would never make it down the aisle.

Having worked at the bistro, Daniel became frustrated at seeing Sinead in her pyjamas when he returned to their house.

Sinead said she was trying to focus on her beard oil company and hadn't a chance to get changed.

She then complained that Daniel was purposefully trying to take a swipe at her.

This escalated into a full-blown argument, with Daniel calling off the wedding.

But some viewers were confused by the whole scene.

Oli said: " #Corrie not sure what that argument was really about."

Grianne tweeted: "Sinead's kinda being a tad harsh on poor Daniel lately ain't she."

And Shaheen said: "Sinead and Daniel used to be so tight What is happening here."

Yet other viewers felt their relationship was already on the rocks.

Louise said: "Sinead is such a downer poor Daniel puts her first all she does is moan."

And another user said: "Daniel just drags Sinead down."
