ITV Coronation Street stars delight fans as they reunite in person for project away from soap

Coronation Street stars Jack P Shepherd, Colson Smith, and Ben Price looked delighted as they finally got to reunite in person for their project away from the ITV soap. And fans, who probably best know them for playing David Platt, Craig Tinker, and Nick Tilsley on the cobbles, were just as thrilled to see them back together too.

The trio were able to return to a studio to record and film their podcast, Sofa Cinema Club, which they first launched back in 2018, after 12 months apart. It hears, and sees, them set aside an evening to settle down on the sofa together to watch a movie.

After each movie night, the soap stars swap their sofas for the studio to discuss what they loved, hated and rated about the films. But, for the last few years, fans of the actors and the podcast have watched Jack, Colson, and Ben record and film their podcast from their respective homes - until this week.

On Wednesday, Jack took to Instagram to share a snap of himself and his co-stars and co-hosts grinning for the camera as they returned to a studio. Other snaps showed the podcasters getting stuck into their latest topics.

"We’re in a studio," the 34-year-old wrote alongside the post to his thousands of followers. "Visual episodes coming very soon. special thanks to everyone that subscribes to the podcast on Patreon, without you this wouldn’t be possible."

Colson also shared the same snaps onto his Instagram page with the 23-year-old commenting: "Couldn’t think of 2 better lads to watch films with!! Making home in our new visual studio! If you wanna listen to @sofacinemaclub it’s easy, we’re on iTunes, Spotify, Patreon and anywhere and everywhere else!

And fans were soon sharing their thoughts. Fan page @davidsshepherds said: "AWEEE THIS IS SO ADORABLE," before adding: "LOVE TO SEE YOUR ALL BACK IN A STUDIO!!!!"

"Buzzing for yous lads, well deserved," @liaamjaa commented. @nancyhovhanesian wrote: "Love these pictures," alongside a string of heart emojis. While @canuck_kiwi joked: "Looks like trouble…"

Earlier this week the trio had fans in stitches after they posted a picture of themselves in some very questionable aprons while in a kitchen. "It’s about to get hot in the kitchen - Our latest YouTube video is out tomorrow where we learn how to cook," the post read on the Sofa Cinema Club Instagram page. "How will we do? Will anyone get food poisoning?
