ITV Coronation Street's Sally catches out Geoff in bid to save Yasmeen

Coronation Street's Sally got one step closer to saving Yasmeen as she caught Geoff out in a lie.

Having heard from Alya that Geoff was hiring escorts, Sally confronted Tim with new information.

Realising the truth would come out in court, Geoff admitted he hired sex workers as Yasmeen refused to sleep with him.

Sally was disgusted but Tim reckoned it could only help Geoff’s case as it proves Yasmeen had a motive for trying to kill him.

Geoff got caught out by his lies (ITV)

Geoff went to the police to reveal this whilst Alya worried she’s played straight into Geoff’s hands.

When Yasmeen then told her how he gave her an STI, Alya was left horrified and begged Yasmeen to expose Geoff for what he is and tell the court the truth.

Sally wasn't terribly convinced by Geoff's confession either, telling Tim that his father wasn't hurting but rather feeling guilty for his actions.

SPOILER - Monday June 8

Prior to Yasmeen’s plea hearing Alya goes to visit her and is shocked and upset when Yasmeeen finally tells her about some of the things Geoff did to her, including getting her to eat her own chicken, forcing her to continually clean.

Alya tried to make her see the truth about Geoff.

But whilst waiting to enter her plea Yasmeen rings Alya from prison to tell her she is worried how Geoff will react if she pleads not guilty, Alya is concerned to see how deep his control and influence still runs.

Meanwhile Sally tells Tim that she is not sure of Geoff’s innocence and would like him to move out.
