ITV Coronation Street's Julia Goulding all smiles as she rocks red lip at first Christmas party since welcoming second child

Julia Goulding was all smiles as she had a brief break from mum duties and joined her Coronation Street co-stars at their Christmas party. The ITV soap gang headed to Manchester's Science and Industry Museum to celebrate another successful year on screen as well as enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.

And Julia, who plays Shona Platt in the ITV soap, looked stunning as she stepped out for the bash in the city centre. The mum-of-two could be seen donning a plunging black velvet dress as she was pictured arriving at the Christmas do.

The soap star took the chill of Manchester's plunging temperatures off by adding a long-line leather coat to her look as well as donning a pair of tights and short heeled boots. Julia also rocked a red lip as she smiled for the camera and kept her brunette locks swept back with just her stylish bangs to frame her face.

Julia was also seen on the arm of Billy Mayhew actor Daniel Brocklebank, with the pair being firm pals off screen. And it is the first time the actress has been seen since giving birth to her second child, a baby girl, last month.

She revealed her pregnancy news by debuting her blossoming baby bump at the British Soap Awards back in June. And taking to Instagram on November 16, Julia shared that she and her husband Ben Silver had welcomed a daughter and shared a sweet snap of the trio as they prepared to bring the newborn home from hospital.

The soap star, and now mum-of-two, gushed that she and Ben were 'absolutely elated' to have a baby girl and said their son Franklin was 'besotted' by the newborn. And their elated faces in the first picture with their baby girl said it all.

Confirming her birth date and name, Julia typed: "On Saturday our little girl arrived. We’re absolutely elated and Franklin is besotted with his little sister, Emmeline Beanie Silver. She’s perfect."

Their new bundle of joy comes three years after Julia and her rarely-seen husband welcomed their first child in 2019 - and he too has a rather unique name. They welcomed son Franklin Wolf Silver at the end of November after Julia went into labour on her due date. She then announced his safe arrival in December.

As for the Corrie Christmas bash, also spotted out on the town were Alison King (Carla Connor), Sally Dynever (Sally Metcalfe), Rob Mallard (Danial Osbourne), Jack P Shepherd (David Platt), Sam Aston (Chesney Brown), Jodie Prenger (Glenda Shuttleworth), Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby), and Georgia Taylor (Toyah Habeeb).

There was also appearances from Elle Mulvaney (Amy Barlo), Harriet Bibby (Summer Spellman), James Craven (Aaron Sandford), Colson Smith (Craig Tinker), Andy Whyment (Kirk Sutherland), Sally Ann Matthews (Jenny Connor), and Toddy Boyce (Stephen Reid).
