Coronation Street star Isabelle Flanagan and Emmerdale actress Amelia Flanagan both had something to celebrate this week. The ITV soap star siblings posed together for a snap posted by their proud dad after they received some exciting career news.
Viewers will best know Amelia for her role as April Windsor over in the Dales, while her sister Isabella plays Hope Stape on the cobbles. And the pair couldn't look more alike as their dad Chris shared his pride for his girls.
Isabella, 11, smiled for the camera as she appeared to have been interrupted from tucking into a bowl of fruit while her older sister Amelia, looking different to her ITV soap character thanks to her donning a pair of dark-rimmed glasses, put a loving and protective arm around her younger sister.

Their father Chris posted the image to social media and told his Twitter followers: "Really chuffed that the girls and so many of their friends and on-screen family are on the long list for the @InsideSoapMag awards." He added: "Whether you’re team @itvcorrie or @emmerdale you can cast your votes now!"
Isabella and Amelia will be going head-to-head as they are both nominated for Best Young Performer at the upcoming Inside Soap Awards. They join Jude Riordan, who plays Sam Blakeman in Corrie, and Sonny Kendall, known for playing Tommy Moon in EastEnders, in the category.
Amelia's Emmerdale co-star Karen Blick, who plays Lydia Dingle in the Leeds-based soap, quickly replied to Chris' post to share her praise for the girls, writing: "Yes I saw! Well done both, you must so proud!" And fans were quick to follow suit and share their support.
@redandproud70 commented: "Wow, so much talent in one family. I’m giving Bella my vote this time, she plays that part a bit too well…..!! Amelia has had my vote before. Good luck girls." @PaulphilipRobe1 replied: "Both worthy winners to be honest." @Ruby_Actor added: "I’ll be voting, well done girls."
Amelia, 14, joined Emmerdale in 2014 and instantly became a hit among viewers - even winning three awards in the space of a year at the Inside Soap Awards and The British Soap Awards. Sister Isabella is also a twin and William plays Hope's cousin Joseph Brown in Corrie.
Back in January, many soap fans didn't realise that Isabella and William were twins when Chris shared a snap of the pair on the cobbles on their birthday. The pair grinned for the camera as they kept warm in their own ITV puffer jackets, @DebraK99 tweeted: "@chrisflanagan83 Didn't realise you were twins, happy birthday guy's hope you have a good one." @SamBawse replied: "@chrisflanagan83 They're twins?!! Ahh that's awesome! Had no idea! Happy birthday you two!!"
And when William was at the forefront of Corrie at the time, viewers could actually see the resemblance between him and his Emmerdale star sister. @ktlulu1985 said: "You wouldn’t think Joseph and Hope were twins.. he looks more like his older sister April in #emmerdale #corrie." @JamieNews81 echoed: "Joseph in #Corrie looking exactly like his sister in #Emmerdale."
