Coronation Street viewers recognised Leanne's old friend Mandy tonight from another soap.
Tonight, Leanne took a delivery of a specially adapted chair for Oliver and explained to Toyah that she and Steve were off to look at a school that caters for children in Oliver’s situation.
But when Mandy, an old friend of Leanne's from an antenatal class, asked after Oliver, Leanne made out that he was fine.

As Mandy headed off, Leanne was overwhelmed with grief.
Viewers may recognise Mandy, played by Kirsty Hitchinson, as Ariana in Emmerdale.
Ariana was a date of Jai Sharma's. The pair appeared in the Woolpack together.
Kirsty studied drama at the University of Huddersfield and trained in Manchester and London, reports the MEN.
Over the years she has worked on TV programmes including the supernatural drama Bedlam and BBC2's Close to the Enemy.
Most recently Kirsty played Julia in the Netflix series Safe.
