Coronation Street fans have been sent into a frenzy after Kimberly Hart-Simpson revealed she is returning to the show.
The actress' performance as sex worker Nicky Wheatley immediately established her as a fan favourite on the long-running soap.
She arrived on the Cobbles in June 2020 and struck up a close bond with school teacher Daniel Osbourne.

Nicky was last seen in Weatherfield in September last year when she left the show after Daniel paid off her debts.
However, Kimberley has now confirmed on Instagram her much-loved character will be returning to the ITV soap in the New Year, along with the iconic "side eye".
Daniel has since moved on and is dating the fiery Daisy Midgely - so Nicky's comeback to Corrie is set to make explosive viewing.
Celebrity fans and followers flooded the comments in excitement at the news of her return.
