Fans of Coronation Street were worried about what may be in store for Roy Cropper after Wednesday's episode.
Radical racist Griff took to the stage in a meeting at the local community centre, on the ITV soap, as he continued to sprout his controversial views. Attendees, including Brian, Roy, Gary and Maria joined the audience expecting a meeting about the environment.
But soon enough Griff's real agenda became clear and they all started to clock on. First off, Maria had a go at him as Griff claimed that migrants were only coming to the UK to claim benefits and were 'health tourists'.

She asked him exactly how much tax he pays before he turned it around on her. He advised the crowd that Maria was claiming an allowance for being an MP. She stormed out of the meeting frustrated.
That was when Roy Cropper stepped in. Griff was left gobsmacked as Roy picked apart his argument by pointing out numerous factual errors in his speech.
The crowd loved it and began to applaud Roy, with Griff realising that he had lost everyone's siding. After the meeting, one of the racists said: "That could have gone better." Griff said: "Yeah, it's all that weirdo's fault." Max tried to defend Roy but the group of racists weren't listening.
Fans at home began to worry in case Roy became the group's next target. Taking to Twitter, Dion said: "They better not hurt Roy #Corrie". Another user said: "Roy supporters unite: if these racist f**** come for our hero, we riot #Corrie."
Morgan said: "If they dare touch Roy Cropper, I will be throwing hands... He needs protecting at all costs #Corrie".
