ITV Coronation Street fans vow to turn off after Geoff and Yasmeen scenes

Coronation Street viewers threatened to turn off tonight, after Yasmeen struggled to come to terms with what she'd done to Geoff.

On Friday night viewers saw an abused Yasmeen finally lash out at Geoff, slashing his neck with a wine bottle.

Tonight Yasmeen called 999 and the operator asked "which service do you require?" and she said "I've just killed my husband."

Police and ambulance flooded the street, with paramedics saying he was still alive, but his breathing was shallow.

As they loaded Geoff into an ambulance the residents of the Cobbles came outside and asked what had happened.

Sally said she would take Yasmeen with her to A&E, but the police officer arrested her on suspicion of assault, with a confused Sally asking what she had done.

At the police station Yasmeen had to undress and her clothes were taken for evidence.

She then got to see her lawyer Imran, but seemed dazed and confused as she struggled to come to terms with what she'd done.

In a police interview her confused state continued as they played her back the 999 call.

As Geoff struggled to stay alive fans were annoyed as it looked like justice for Yasmeen was looking increasingly unlikely, with many of them threatening to stop watching the show if that was the case.

Mike said: "I swear to god I will never watch this again if Yasmeen doesn't get justice."

Jessica said: "Cannot bear to watch Yasmeen get the blame I’m never watching it ever again."

Louby said: "If Geoff lives, I will never watch #corrie again!"

And Keri said: "I really hate the fact that it’s making yasmeen look like the bad guy even in public, i just hope there’s some justice for yasmeen & cameras are found so they could see its self defence !!"

*Coronation Street continues at 7:30pm on ITV on Wednesday
