Coronation Street viewers were thrilled tonight as Yasmeen was found not guilty of attempted murder.
Tonight saw Imran expose Geoff's visit to the hospital to intimidate Elaine into not giving evidence.
Imran's interrogation saw him skilfully pull Geoff apart and Geoff snapped at him, revealing his true colours.
Imran and the defence lawyer gave their closing arguments as the jury went out to deliberate.
The jury came back in quickly and declared that Yasmeen was not guilty of Geoff's attempted murder.
As the verdict was read Geoff ranted and raved with the judge threatening to remove him from the courtroom.
Geoff screamed: "Oh don't worry I'm removing myself your honour, this whole thing is a farce."
The judge then turned to Yasmeen and said: "Mrs Metcalfe you are free to go."
Alya burst into tears, with Imran also visibly emotional.
And viewers couldn't have been happier about the outcome, with many of them rushing to social media to comment on the case.
