ITV Coronation Street fans notice one unusual thing about Richard's death

Coronation Street fans watched in horror as Roy's long-lost brother collapsed and died in tonight's episode.

Viewers saw Roy call at Richard’s and pack Nina off to college, promising to wait in for the new carer.

However, Aggie told Roy over the phone that the freezer was leaking. Richard, insisting that he was fine, urged Roy to leave.

Back at the cafe, Roy rang Richard but he was furious to discover the carer still hadn’t turned up.

Medics attempted to revive Richard (ITV)

Assuring Roy he was fine, Richard ended the call but lost his balance and fell.

Having recovered, Richard answered another call from Roy and, keeping quiet about his fall, pretended all was well.

But when Roy finally returned to Richard’s flat he found him passed out on the floor.

Nina looks on in horror (ITV)

Worst of all, as the paramedics tried to revive him, Nina arrived in time to hear Richard be pronounced dead.

However, as the scenes aired viewers all seemed to notice the same unusual thing about Richard's death - how slow the medics were at doing CPR.

Many took to Twitter making light of the situation.

Andy wrote: "Why's the paramedic giving a heart massage to Richard's stomach? No wonder he died."

Tinks said: "How not to do pretend CPR."

Catherine tweeted: "Roy’s dead brother had more life in him compared to the two medics trying to resuscitate him. No wonder he kicked the bucket."

And Michelle commented: "The medics didn’t look like they gave a rats a***."
