Coronation Street fans were furious as Sinead's mother showed up at the last minute to see her daughter for the final time.
Viewers saw Sinead urge Daniel t o stop punishing himself about kissing Beth, leaving him deeply moved to know she’s forgiven him.
But while Sinead forgave Daniel, Beth confided in Tracy about how she can’t help but feel angry with him.
In a bid to appear positive, Sinead asked Daniel to fetch her some flowers with a lovely scent so she could imagine she’s outside.
As the day progressed, Sinead makes plans with Billy for her funeral.
Beth wanted Sinead to go to a hospice, but Dr Gaddas asserted that it’s too late to move her to the hospice in her fragile state.
Daniel starts reeling as Sinead realised it’s time to start saying her goodbyes.
Sinead woke up to find her family gathered around her bed and took comfort from listening to them bicker over inconsequential nonsense.
However, some fans were frustrated as Sinead's mother only just returned to the Cobbles as Sinead died.
Kelly said: "Well it's about time Sinead's mum turned up."
Grace tweeted: "How has her mum just turned up now like where have you been"
Dion said: "Her mum doesn’t seem too bothered does she?"
And Mike wrote: "Disgusting that Sinead's mum hasn't visited her when her daughter is dying and will end up turning up when it's too late."
