ITV Coronation Street fans 'can't watch show' as Sinead dies in tragic scenes

Coronation Street fans were devastated tonight when Sinead passed away after battling cervical caner.

Daniel to stop punishing himself about kissing Beth, leaving him deeply moved to know she’s forgiven him.

But whilst Sinead forgave Daniel, Beth confided in Tracy how she can’t help but feel angry with him.

In a bid to appear positive, Sinead asked Daniel to fetch her some flowers with a lovely scent so she could imagine she’s outside.

As the day progressed Sinead makes plans with Billy for her funeral.

Beth wanted Sinead to go to a hospice, but Dr Gaddas asserted that it’s too late to move her to the hospice in her fragile state.

Daniel starts reeling as Sinead realised it’s time to start saying her goodbyes.

Sinead woke up to find her family gathered around her bed and took comfort from listening to them bicker over inconsequential nonsense.

She later passed away peacefully with Daniel and Bertie on the bed with her.

Daniel lay down next to her and cried silent tears as he held her knowing he and Bertie will have to get used to life without her.

Viewers were distraught as scenes showed Sinead die - with some saying they couldn't watch it.

Lisa said: "What amazing acting tonight. An amazing episode, so heartbreaking."

Lucy said: "The ambiance in these #Corrie episodes has been incredible. Every tiny detail has been crafted to the utter heartbreak of Sinead’s storyline."

Jassi wrote: "I can't watch this, especially when you know this is life for so many people in the world. It just isn't fair."

Claire said: "Can't bring myself to watch the rest. Yes it's only a soap, but this acting is so absolutely brilliant it's untrue.

"If you've ever watched someone die from cancer, the little details are so unbelievably real, they have thought of everything."

And Sally tweeted: "I genuinely can’t watch #Corrie . The subject has to be highlighted and thank god it has raised awareness, but it’s just too real."
