Coronation Street fans were baffled by David's prison scenes on tonight's instalment.
Viewers will know the character was sent down in July after a trial involving both him and his brother Nick Tilsley.
Tonight, David's girlfriend Shona visited the prison to inform him of Max's behavioural issues.
But fans couldn't help be confused by David's incredible tan - with many taking to Twitter.
LJ tweeted: "David Platt has got a banging tan whilst being locked up ya know."
Ryan Love joked: "David Platt has a better tan in prison than Gail will have after her months living abroad."
Another user said: "Christ on a bike, David's tan is getting darker and darker, I didn't know they had sun beds in prison!"
Mike said: "David Platt is looking well considering he's banged up in the Big House. Great sun tan."
Bobby tweeted: " @itvcorrie how come David has a sun tan when he is in prison?"
And Martin said: "What's his face has a nice tan considering he's banged up."
