ITV Coronation Street fans all say same thing after spotting Nick's black eye

Nick Tilsey had a whopping black eye on Corrie tonight - and fans all said the same thing.

The Bistro owner was black and blue after Tyrone Dobbs walloped him straight in the face. It came after their children - Sam Blakeman and Hope Stape - had 'disappeared' together.

Eventually, Hope's mum, Fiz, found the youngsters at the park where she told the schoolboy she had been worried sick and he should have brought her home. But protective dad Nick saw this as Fiz having a go at his little boy and flew off the handle.

Nick then ordered his son to stay away from Hope and later, upon hearing about the confrontation with Nick, Tyrone saw red. He stormed out and headed over to Nick's flat and as his neighbour answered the door, Tyrone punched him right in the face.

Tonight, the results of the violent attack were evidently clear. Nick was rocking a huge shiner and fans joked that he looked like he had "gone seven round with Tyson" rather than Tyrone.

Nick's eye was 'excessive' (ITV)

Taking to Twitter, Jo said: "Nick Tilsley looks like he's been 7 rounds with Mike Tyson, yet he was only punched by Tyrone! That eye is quite something. #corrie"

Kelly said: "You sure it was Tyrone who hit Nick??? By the look at that eye, I would say @Tyson_Fury lol. @itvcorrie #corrie"

Another user said: "The make-up department have been a bit OTT recently, what, wi' the excessive foundation on Max's, face & the faaar too exaggerated black eye/bruise on, Nick! #Corrie" Greg said: "Great work by the make-up department on Nick's eye... #Corrie"
