Actress Julia Goulding will return to her role as Shona Ramsey very soon on Coronation Street.
The ITV soap confirmed Julia is back filming on set, after taking time off following the birth of her son last year.
Character Shona Ramsey left the show following a tragic new storyline, in the fallout to the Christmas siege.
Shona left Weatherfield leaving her husband David Platt devastated in January.
Complications from her injuries after being shot on Christmas Day meant she lost her memories and could no longer recall her life with David.
But both Corrie and Julia have now confirmed her looming return, which could be just weeks away, the Mirror reports.
It was revealed she is now filming, by sharing a video on their official Twitter, Coronation Street said: "Guess who was back filming with us this week? We've missed you @juliagoulding ."
On the video, Julia said: "Hi everyone, you may be wondering why I'm wearing my Coronation Street warm coat, it's cos Shona's back."
One fan said: "Ah, what fantastic news! Great to see her!"
Another tweeted: "Ahhhh there she is and looking fab !! Cannot wait to see Julia back love her."
