ITV has confirmed its plans for the broadcast of Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral.
The broadcaster suspended the majority of its regularly scheduled programming in favour of rolling coverage of the Queen's death. Since Thursday, ITV has aired multiple specials and told the public its lineup would be subject to change for the duration of the national mourning period.
ITV has just confirmed its plans for the Queen's state funeral at Westminister Abbey, stating it will be one of the largest broadcasts in their history. A full statement said: "The event will be shown live and uninterrupted on ITV’s main channel and simultaneously on all of its digital channels.

"The coverage will be preceded by Good Morning Britain which will preview the funeral. Moving into the evening, ITV will broadcast a documentary film chronicling the events of the past ten days from Her Majesty The Queen’s death to the state funeral.
"There will be a special programme focussing on the day’s events at 21:00 followed by an extended News at Ten. All of the day’s programming from 6am to midnight will be simulcast on all of ITV’s main channels and five digital channels and hub - the first time in its history ITV has done so."
No advertising takes place throughout their royal coverage which will include the Queen's funeral.
