ITV has responded after shocked I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans spotted a contestant smoking on screen.
Cliff Parisi was seen puffing away during the ITV reality series, having joined the show as the mystery 12th camp-mate.
Former EastEnders and Call The Midwife star Cliff joined the show alongside fellow late arrival Andy Whyment.
But eagle-eyed viewers were all asking the same question days after his arrival - when Cliff was seen smoking in camp, report Birmingham Live.
One person Tweeted: “Was Cliff just smoking??
"Thought cigarettes weren't allowed #ImACeleb.”
But ITV have confirmed Cliff wasn't smoking cigarettes, but rather using a nicotine inhalator.
Addressing smoking on the show, a spokesperson said camp-mates are permitted to smoke while on the show, and this has always been the case.
ITV released a statement last year, revealing that camp-mates are allowed to smoke, but they had to put out their cigarettes on the camp fire.
Fellow ITV reality show Love Island banned on-screen smoking back in 2018.
The decision came after viewers slammed the amount of smoking seen during the 2017 epsiodes.
Now Love Islanders who smoke have to take their cigarettes outside of the main door so cameras do not see them.
