ITV Christmas Day TV schedule including This Morning, Coronation Street and Emmerdale

Just like the BBC, ITV have plenty of things lined up for people to watch on Christmas Days; from soaps to films and specials of gameshows from Ant and Dec and Alan Carr.

Whether it's while opening presents on the morning, having a few festive tipples before dinner, or when you're struggling to stay awake after it, many of us switch the TV on at some point on December 25, to watch a film, catch some soap drama or get stuck into a quiz show.

Traditionally, it's more often that not been the BBC, who've won the Christmas ratings battle, but ITV had landed big wins over the years with the likes of Touch of Frost and festive visits to Coronation Street and Emmerdale. The latter two are sure to get plenty of attention this year, after big storylines have been teased in recent weeks.

Other highlights of ITV's Christmas Day line-up, include specials of Good Morning Britain, This Morning and Loose Women and a screening of much loved Christmas film Love Actually. Over on the BBC, viewers will be able to tune into EastEnders, the Strictly Christmas special and of course, King Charles' speech,
